The card allows daisy chaining of up to five Thunderbolt™ devices simultaneously, delivering blazing data transfer rates and near-instantaneous responsiveness. In addition, the DisplayPort™ 2.1
connection enables:

It also provides Wake-from-Thunderbolt support , and includes dedicated connection cables for direct connection to the motherboard (Thunderbolt header, DisplayPort in).
