ASUS QG-U1080 is an unmanaged network switch designed for upgrading a home or business network, with a combination of 2.5Gbps and 10Gbps connections, simple installation, and a set of smart features.
Eight 2.5G connections and two 10G SFP+ connections
The switch includes 8 RJ45 connections at speeds up to 2.5Gbps and two SFP+ connections at speeds up to 10Gbps.
This combination allows you to connect a wide range of compatible devices, including NAS, access points, gaming PCs and 4K streaming devices. According to the specification, standard CAT5e cables can be used for 2.5G connections.
Four smart network management modes
ASUS QG-U1080 supports four smart functions: Priority, EEE, Port Isolation, and Static Trunk.
These functions allow you to make basic adjustments to the network, prioritize traffic, separate ports, save power consumption through EEE, and use Static Trunk according to network needs.
Plug & Play without complex settings
This is an unmanaged switch, so installation is simple: connect the power supply and network cables and you can start working without a complex setup process.
The specification includes a 16K MAC address table, 8Mbits Packet Buffer, support for Jumbo Frames up to 10K bytes, and a transfer rate of 59.52Mpps for 64-byte packets.
Clear indication and compact structure
The LEDs indicate power status, connection speed, and network activity. On ports 1–8, a green light indicates a 2.5Gbps connection and an orange light indicates 10/100/1000Mbps.
On SFP+ ports 9–10, a green indicator indicates a 10Gbps connection and an orange indicator indicates 1Gbps.
The switch weighs 420 grams and measures 193 × 84.1 × 26 mm. It comes with an external 12V/1A power supply, a quick start guide, and a warranty card.
